House Batteries not charging.

Had a problem with house batteries, on my motor home,  not charging from engine alternator, charged ok from shore power and from generator. Found that I had a solenoid that was causing the problem. This solenoid is labeled, on coach drawings, as a battery boost solenoid, connects house batteries and start battery together to get power when needed but it is also used to direct alternator charging current to the batteries.

Took the original part number from the offending solenoid, part labeled as a "White-Rogers/RBM, type 586-105111-3, Coil 12V D.C., cust. no. 586-902. I searched these part numbers on google and was led to Mouser Electronics, among others, ordered the part from Mouser Electronics, Mouser Electronics part number is 802-586-902, for $47.00 plus shipping costs. Some sites had the same part for $95.00 so it pays to shop around on the net. Part arrived in 3 days using FedEx ground shipping. Mouser is located in Fort Worth, Texas I am on the east coast so I go great service on that one. Mouser Electronics is on the web at www.mouser.com.
